Alumnae Spotlight: Jillian Dougherty
February 21, 2012
I am Jillian Dougherty and I graduated in 2005 with a degree in Marketing. I am a member of Classy '06!!
I was the VP of Membership Development, President, and then I was formal chair as a senior. I truly enjoyed each position as they were all challenging in their own way.
My biggest lesson and best advice is you have a committee for a reason, utilize them, delegate the tasks at hand and assist when needed. In my first few weeks of being VP of MD I hardly picked up a book for schoolwork. I was so hands on instead of learning to be a leader. Learn to trust your sisters, they will get the job done.

Hi Ladies!
I'm Lindsey Diana. I graduated in 2009 and I am a proud member of Classy 06 pledge class!
I was social chair and VP of fraternity relations, which is now separated into service and fraternity relations, I believe, so imagine how much work that all was when it was together! But I loved every minute of it!

Alpha Chi's Annual Frisbee Fest was a SUCCESS
October 4, 2011
This year's Frisbee Fest was held on the quad on Saturday Oct. 1st. The day was filled with exciting activities, raffles, and of course the infamous frisbee tournament, all while raising tons of money towards the Fight Against Domestic Violence. The tournament involved 22 teams, were played during the entire course of the fest and ended with our new champions The Delts! With outstanding raffle prizes, such as 4 Yankee tickets to a game of your choice, 2 box seat tickets to a Giant's game, a tour of the New York Stock Exchange, and tons more, how could anyone resist the chance to win? By the end of the day everyone had smiles across their faces from the day's events - along with a remarkable amount of cool whip . As always, Frisbee Fest was a great success and the Iota Phi chapter cannot wait for next year

Alpha Chi's Support The Cure for Diabetes Walk on QU's North Haven Campus!
September 27, 2011
This past Sunday, September 25th, Quinnipiac hosted the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Walk to Cure Diabetes. Among the enormous and diverse crowd that attended the event, was of course a group of fabulous Alpha Chi's! The 3-mile walk drew people together in a healthy activity, raising money to help find better treatments and a cure for diabetes. It was fun for families and helped build companionship among company employees as well as organizational leaders. The speakers touched the hearts of all who were present and showed us how much it meant to them to see us all there in support of their cause. Under photos you can find a couple of pictures of Alpha Chi's who attended the walk, one of which was taken with a young girl named Sophie, who was one of the children we were there in support of, and also who we were all fortunate enough to hear sing the national anthem at the beginning of the day.
